Alpha Kappa Psi is first and foremost a community. Our chapter brings together students from diverse majors, interests, and backgrounds, building strong connections through social events, retreats, and shared experiences on and off campus.
Professionalism
From consulting and finance to technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, our brothers pursue careers across every major industry. Duke AKPsi provides professional development that equip members to succeed in competitive fields.
Philanthropy
We are committed to giving back to both the Duke community and the greater Durham area. Through service initiatives, campus partnerships, and fundraising efforts, Duke AKPsi strives to create meaningful local impact and foster a culture of social responsibility.

FAQs
-
At the end of the day, Alpha Kappa Psi is about the people. More than a professional organization, AKPsi is a close-knit community built on shared ambition, mutual support, and genuine friendship. We bring together students with different majors, interests, and goals who are united by a desire to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.
What truly sets AKPsi apart is our culture. Whether it’s late-night work sessions, recruiting season support, philanthropy events, or social nights, our members show up for each other. We take our professional development seriously, but we also make time to enjoy the process together.
-
Our main priority is training members to become leaders in the business world. To make that possible, we host mandatory weekly training sessions during the new member education process. Outside of that, the chapter is designed to fit alongside academics, internships, and other commitments.
We are always as accommodating as possible if conflicts arise or members need additional flexibility.
-
Many of our members joined for the opportunities first, then stayed for the people. AKPsi provides mentorship, support during recruiting, and a community that pushes you to grow personally and professionally.
